What's happening and when?
We're still putting the finishing touches on our special day, including finding the perfect venue for our evening celebrations, but you can find out what's happening and when below.
Mehndi
20th July, 18:30 - 20:30
Guests are welcome to attend a Mehndi party at our home the night before the big day.
The bride and her female family and friends will gather together to apply henna, a type of temporary intricate body art, on their hands and feet. The men will be treated to a variety of imported Kenyan beer.
Ceremony
13:00 - 13:45
The service will be conducted first in Bridgford Hall.
Meetal and Chris will exchange vows in a short ceremony, after which photographs will be taken in the adjoining Bridgford Park.
Canapes
14:00 - 14:30
Guests will be offered delicious light canapes and sparkling beverages at La Storia, a rustic family-run Italian restaurant a stone's throw from the venue.
During this time, music will be provided by Michael Godley performing a repertoire of popular and classical guitar arrangements.
Wedding Breakfast
14:30 - 16:30
A three-course meal will be provided at La Storia, complete with a selection of wines/sparkling beverages, teas and coffees.
Drinks Reception
19:30 - Late

Guests will be treated to a selection of beers, spirits, mocktails and cocktails in the private Retro Lounge: three vibrant, colourful rooms decorated with clashing patterns and eclectic influences.
